Case Management:
Case management is a process by which services offered to residents are monitored for quality and follow-up. Case managers will facilitate links to services such as medical/dental services, employment search, leisure activities, and access to 12-Step meetings.

Living Environment:
Our hope is that each resident at Inner Harbour appreciates and values the property offered which will help them achieve a healthy, holistic start to their healing/recovery process. The property which is directly on the intercoastal waters of Tequesta, Florida offers a sense of peace and serenity and an appreciation for our natural environment.

Group Meetings:
During phase one the following group processes are provided: Community process which is an opportunity for residents to address pertinent issues that arise throughout the week. Frequent topics include relapse prevention, healthy boundaries, relationship issues, structure struggles, and scheduling issues.

Individual Sessions:
Each client will be assigned a credentialed or licensed counselor and will have a minimum of one individual session a week to review progress in recovery. If further individual attention is needed, the resident will be referred for individual therapy and charged per individual therapist's hourly rate.

Adventure Therapy:
Adventure Therapy will be one day per month and will take place on a weekend. This will include therapeutic activities designed to enhance community support and self-discovery. These activities include but are not limited to kayaking, a ropes course, hiking in our local State park.

Hormonal Shift Assessment:
Assessing the impact of our menstrual cycles from a holistic viewpoint has been largely ignored. This holistic hormonal shift assessment will help each woman identify past patterns and the impact of hormonal shifting due to increase/decrease of our sex hormones. This includes a written assessment, individual sessions and appropriate care planning to identify a relapse prevention plan specific to this.

Spiritual Counseling/Meditation Process:
Of primary importance in the healing/recovery process is the process of self-discovery. Clients will be guided in daily meditation practices which may include the process of reflective sitting, meditative readings and exercises. Clients will also be given a female approach regarding the spirituality of the 12-Steps.

Specialty Groups:
In keeping with our holistic approach clients may experience groups such as Creative Arts, Yoga, Feng Shui and Women's Health Issues.

Integration:
Inner Harbour is committed to helping women achieve a holistic approach to their healing/recovery process. As such, the integration into family and/or community is an integral component of our healing/recovery process. Many women come to Inner Harbour from all over the country therefore we have found that bimonthly conference calls with families proves to be an effective method in addressing family issues. We encourage family members to come to Inner Harbour for a face to face family session. We are able to individualize this process as needed.

Acupuncture:
Now one of the most popular forms of alternative medicine, acupuncture is proving to be effective in the field of addictions recovery. Acupuncture needles unblock the body's meridians and stimulate the flow of energy. Recent research has suggested that acupuncture can help stimulate the body's production of beta-endorphins, as well. At Inner Harbour we have a licensed acupuncturist available for education and treatment to our clients as an ancillary service should they so choose.
